All I Really Need to Know I Learned in PreSchOOL!!

Ty's last day of preschool came too soon. His teacher's have been Ms. Debbie and Ms. Debbie, (yep, you read it right), and he looked so forward to seeing them each week! He'll be back again in the fall, though. His birthday comes just two weeks after the cutoff, so even though he seems very ready to go to Kindergarten, he will have to wait another year. He is already reading along with Luke in Luke's kindergarten books! He's a smart little cuss! I'm glad I'll have him around to console me and hangout with me while Luke goes to 1st grade ALL day! Love you, Ty Ty!

BoWLinG Birthday BLAST!!!

We had Luke's birthday party a couple of weeks late at the new Brunswick Zone bowling alley. He's been wanting to do this forever! He had 10 friends who came, and we were lucky that Grammy and Papa, Aunt Ashlie and Mylie, were in town to celebrate with us!

We had lots of cheese pizza...

Ate our cute bowling cake that we made just for Luke's party...

Opened some very cool presents...

Stopped bowling to do some dance moves with the group...

Bowled our little hearts out...(This is Ty showing his skills!)...

And enjoyed a super fun party surrounded by good company!
Happy Birthday Luke!

Goin' Training Wheel-LESS!

Luke got a new bike for his birthday and decided that he wanted to try riding without training wheels. Instead of using his new 16" bike, he picked up his tiny 12" bike from 2 years ago. It took all of about 15 minutes for him to get the hang of it! He mastered his 'big' bike the very next day! I was shocked that he learned so fast! That's one thing about Luke, when he is determined to do something, he'll try it until he gets it right!

We just told him that the trick to riding a bike is...
THE FASTER YOU GO, THE LESS LIKELY YOU ARE TO CRASH!
Unfortunately, he had his first 'big-bike' wipeout soon after!

We love to watch our little dude ride. Now it's just prying him off his bike to do anything else!

Any resemblance?

Yep, I've figured out that Sam Snowman must have been mastering his spoon skills by diving into a little yogurt before shooting the movie! Kate is just cracking up about it!

Still having fun on a rainy day!

Even in the cold and rain, our popsicles, bike-riding, and runny-nosed sister Kate brightened up the afternoon.

...happy birthday, dear Lukey...HaPPy BirThDay to YOU!

Yikes, our little boy is already 6 years old!!!

Luke left for school on the morning of his birthday all dressed up for the wedding that he was formally invited to for "Mr. Q" and "Mrs. U" at school that day. He was actually excited to be having his birthday on the same day as the wedding of these two letters in love!

He picked out the big chocolate chip cookies from Costco to share with all of his friends in class!

Since his official party with all of his friends isn't for another week, Luke chose to celebrate with PaPa Johns pizza and ice cream cones from Baskin Robbins!

He couldn't wait to open his presents from the family, either!!! It was lots of fun! Thanks for all the nice gifts and phone calls! He had a really fun day!
