A whole lot of new stuff starting with...Master Kenobi, USE THE FORCE!

Ty had his Halloween party at preschool today. He dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi and felt pretty cool in his fresh Halloween digs. (He kept checking out his beard in the bathroom mirror to make sure it hadn't smeared.) At the party he played games, made some crafts, and came home with some great treats! He says he wants to be Darth Maul for trick-or-treating, though! To be continued...

"Make a Difference Day"

The boys had such a fun time helping out with the Make A Difference Day here in our city. They helped to clean up at a local park and wore their cool new orange work t-shirts that they were given. They even had some yummy hotdogs for lunch after their day of laboring out in the cold! Having some friends there made it even more fun, too!

What a face!

Kate was caught up on the counter with a box of cereal dumped out in front of her, just before church, of course. I sternly said, "No, No, Kate," and the sad frown came on and tears started to flow. I grabbed my camera to capture her adorable face. We quickly gave loves and made it all better!

Crazy Sock Day!

Luke had crazy sock day at school last week. I think it made him a little crazy when he put them on, but he was sure proud of his new trend!

"Me some? Me some?"

After seeing mommy putting on some new nail polish, my little girly-girl decided that she wanted some toenail polish, too! We sat her up on the bathroom counter and had fun painting her tiny toenails a lovely red color! Amazingly, she sat super still and was such a perfect little customer! When she got down, she was so proud of her new pretty toes that she went right in to show big brother Ty! The funniest part was how she walked afterward they were painted! I couldn't stop laughing!

The Ol' PuMpKin PaTCh

We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with the kids and had such a great time! There were so many fun things to do there including the hay mazes, a small petting zoo, humongous tire swings and horse tire swings, the witch slides, tractor rides, and lots and lots of pumpkins! We watched our kids soaking in all of the fun, and it just reminded us how blessed we are and what a joy it is to be the parents of our three wonderful little kids!

(Yes, that's Kate coming out at the bottom of the slide!)

Precedings of the Inevitable

I walked upstairs tonight only to find a crumpled mess of my beloved scripture pages awaiting me at the top! It is, in no doubt, my fault for having them anywhere within climbing distance of an almost two-year old, who, despite my efforts, I can't help but hug and smile at every time she does anything right or wrong! Admittedly, I have been telling myself for awhile now that I am about due for some new scriptures, but I have put off that thought time and time again knowing how hard it would be for me to part with my enduring companion! I know it's not always a bad thing to experience a fresh start, and considering the fact that I've been married for almost 9 years now and they still sport my maiden name on the front, it looks like the time has come and the inevitable is in the very near future!
