Freezing Rain
Well, we were supposed to have Stake Conference today, but it was cancelled due to the weather. This is one of the unique things about living in the midwest. It's an interesting phenomenom where the temperatures reach freezing, but it rains instead of snows. The result is a layer of ice that forms on everything. Although it's beautiful to look at, it can actually be quite dangerous. Not just with driving, but with tree branches snapping under the weight of the ice. In fact, last year nearly 500,000 people were without power for a few days due to downed power lines because of the freezing rain. Anyway, it was nice to not have to get up for meetings this morning! Here are a few pictures...(Make sure you click on them so you can see the larger images with all the detail)

I remember that crazy storm. We had a huge snow/rain storm that shut everything down last weekend, it was nuts. Don't freeze.
That. Is. CRAZY!!! How long are you stuck inside? I DEFINITELY wouldn't dare go out in that. I am amazed with those pics. Wow. Scary-ramma!
