Precedings of the Inevitable

I walked upstairs tonight only to find a crumpled mess of my beloved scripture pages awaiting me at the top! It is, in no doubt, my fault for having them anywhere within climbing distance of an almost two-year old, who, despite my efforts, I can't help but hug and smile at every time she does anything right or wrong! Admittedly, I have been telling myself for awhile now that I am about due for some new scriptures, but I have put off that thought time and time again knowing how hard it would be for me to part with my enduring companion! I know it's not always a bad thing to experience a fresh start, and considering the fact that I've been married for almost 9 years now and they still sport my maiden name on the front, it looks like the time has come and the inevitable is in the very near future!

BUMMER!!! That is awful! I am sorry for the Loss...but the bright side is clear...we do need to change and part from our "mission" scriptures someday! I need to as well. Love you!

I have felt the same way about parting with mine to get new ones. My old ones are so marked, and every time I open them, another glue-in, or random paper falls out. Also, sporting my maiden name. Anyway, sorry about that! That really does stink. Miss you! Love you

Are you kidding me?! Dave and I both always turn on the DC! (Disney Channel!) WE LOVE IT! The shows are funny, and totally clean! haha

What is it about the scripture pages that kids like to tear them out??? Both of ours have done the same thing too. If it makes you feel any better, I still have the same set of scriptures that I was given on my baptism day. I can't seem to part with them for some reason.

What a bummer, that sounds like something my little girl would do.

That would so happen at my house! Smooth them out and shove them back in :) I bet she had fun! Fresh scriptures will be nice to have.
