Our big Luke is FaMouS!!
We just wanted to share our exciting news with everyone. Lukey was featured in July's issue of "The Friend." He is in the much coveted "Friends in the News" section! He was soooooooo excited when he found out! He was just mad that they had his age as 6 instead of 7 since he just had a birthday last month! I Guess that's what happens when it gets published nearly a year after being submitted! Go check it out and read about our handsome little StAr!

The REAL way to camp!
As the Father's & Son's campout was approaching, the boys were so excited to do some outdoor camping with dad. Unfortunately, Luke was not feeling well due to his allergies/asthma stuff, and I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to go. However, dad did not disappoint!! He decided to keep it on the schedule as planned but simply change locations - yep, the basement! No girls were allowed. (Poor Kate was reprimanded by the boys a few times while trying to join the fun!) The boys put up a tent downstairs and brought along their sleeping bags and pillows. They ate pizza, watched Star Wars, and snuggled up for their night's sleep. It was a night to remember!

Snow Dawgs!
Our long-awaited snowfall finally came! The kids have been outside for hours on end and loving every minute of it! Here in The Lou, we aren't sure how long it will last, so we have to take advantage of it! Ty measured it for us with his nifty snowman ruler that he made at school, and it was 6 inches or so. Hot chocolate has been a must after a good day of playing!
