Well, knowing that we would be having a big celebration in Utah for Ty's birthday, we still did a little partying here in St. Louis. Ty had a few requests, the first one being a happy meal from McDonalds! They had Star Wars toys, so yes, he could say 'I'm lovin' it'!
The next request was a trip to Game Stop with dad to buy the much-anticipated game Lego Indiana Jones. Luke and Ty have been saving their money to buy it, and a little birthday money got them right where they needed to be. I think it was the favorite present of them all!
The last request was to go see the new movie Star Wars the Clone Wars. It came out on Ty's birthday, and he had been counting down the days since he found that out. We all had fun binging on popcorn and soda as a family!
We had lots of fun for Ty's birthday, and we'll look forward to lots more fun next week with all the cousins!

It's crazy my son turned 5 this year also...can you believe it? I'm glad he is not the only one loving the "lego" games on Ps2. We told him santa would have to bring lego Indiana, so for now he continues his obsession with lego star wars and we went to "Clone Wars" on opening night...it's fun to know you are doing the boy thing too!! Happy B-day to Ty!
Did you guys like Clone Wars? I can't believe my Aaron hasn't been pestering us like crazy to see it.
Aaron's friend has lego indiana - and every time they play it he tells me they ALMOST have it all passed off. haha. Tyler likes it too (he also plays with a friend). BOYS. well - video games ... I like 'em too. :)
